Part 1: Methods to Back Up Windows 10 to QNAP NAS If you wonder if you can make backups of your Windows 10 on a QNAP NAS, the answer is completely affirmative and here I will show you how to easily carry out this process. A NAS is one of the most reliable devices, due to its very high storage capacity and its practicality. Right now I can't access the drive transfer files or anything, can anybody offer any suggestions that I can try this update really messed me up.Check the QTS software user guide here. I've rebooted several times but be unable to get any further.Īs I mentioned my Kodi shares via NFS work fine but my Samba Shares in Windows are dead even after turn the service on and off. In Qfinder I can get to the Configuration Section by using either the new admin or the admin to see the IP address NAS name etc. I uninstalled and reinstalled Qfinder but same problem. In Qfinder it sees the NAS but when I try to connect to it it says it can not connect to the device and wants me to try to login via the web browser, which I can't. I saw in the Release Notes for this build that the Web Login in disabled by default now and I do have "Allow redirect URL to NAS Login Page" enable but still won't let me login via the IP. I read that I need to access the NAS using the IP address and the System Port (which I was already doing previously) and no access on the Web Login. I updated my Credentials in Credential Manager in Windows to reflect the new admin account nothing. I read a few posts and saw that I needed to create a new Admin Account and access the NAS that way. I didn't have any problems before this update but now I can't access my NAS at all. I also can't access the shares in Windows either but I am able to access the NFS Share in Kodi on my Firestick. The only way I can access the NAS now is by using the SmartURL Link otherwise I am not able to access it via the Web Login (IP Address Access) or by QFinder. build and have been unable to login into my NAS ever since.
